Shane Hurlbut had suggested making videos for an Isolation Challenge called Make it Epic, where you take an ordinary everyday isolation household task and make it Epic.
It sounded fun and even though I missed the deadline due to other projects, I made one anyway of my wife making a smoothie. Credit where credit is due. Props and shout out to Daniel Schiffer for unabashedly borrowing his style in this video. It as a learning exercise as I’ve not really shot b-roll sequences like this in the past, mostly doing narrative work. A pandemic forcing you home is a good time to try new things and learn.
